Professional

A native of Vermont, Nancy P. White first came to North Carolina in 1979. She attended the University of North Carolina on a Track and Field Scholarship and graduated in 1983 with honors. Nancy then attended North Carolina Central University on scholarship where she received her Juris Doctor in 1986.

Upon graduation from law school, Nancy returned to Vermont where she became a member of the litigation team at DeBonnis, Wright, and Winpenny. Nancy returned to North Carolina in 1988 and focused her practice in Litigation, Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation.

In 1995, Nancy founded White & Associates, which later became White & Stradley, LLP.  In her career, she has affected several substantial verdicts for her clients for Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation claims. Nancy has successfully represented clients in the Industrial Commission/Full Commission, Superior Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

Nancy is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyer's Association, the North Carolina Bar, North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a Licensed Sports Agent.

Personal

Nancy grew up on a dairy farm in Vermont where a strong work ethic was instilled at a very early age. She excelled both in athletics and academics growing up. As a Junior Olympian, she ranked fourth in the nation in the Women's Heptathalon and excelled in outdoor and indoor track and field competition. Her athletic skills combined with academic success enabled her to get a scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a member of the Track and Field Team as well as the Women's Basketball Team. She graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983.

Nancy devotes most of her time to being an advocate and voice for those who have been injured. Especially those who have been injured at work or in accidents.

Additionally because of her background in athletics she now represents Division One basketball coaches. Many of the coaches she represents are recognized as the premier coaches in women's basketball.

When not working, Nancy enjoys playing golf, skiing, as well as running. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves being at her home in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains.
